My journey through fashion commenced during high school, where my mother bestowed upon me my first sewing machine. It was a pivotal moment that ignited my passion for fashion, leading me to create my debut pair of shorts in my 11th-grade economics class. This initial success served as a profound inspiration, propelling me to delve deeper into the realms of fashion and sewing. Eager to expand my skills and knowledge, I embarked on a path of studying the fundamentals of fashion and sewing, nurturing my creativity and paving the way for a remarkable journey in the world of fashion.

Expanding Knowledge at Middle Tennessee State University

At Middle Tennessee State University, I had the opportunity to continue my education and delve into my passion for the history of fashion. The university provided me with a comprehensive curriculum that allowed me to explore various aspects of the fashion industry. I not only studied the history of fashion but also had the chance to learn about fashion illustration. This helped me develop my artistic skills and understand how to bring my design ideas to life on paper. Additionally, I discovered the intricacies of pattern-making, which is a crucial aspect of fashion design. After graduating from university, I eagerly returned to Atlanta to pursue my dream of fashion and building my blog.
